The company started in 2012 with a single workstation and within 9 years, has grown to 7 Tekla Stations and 2 Solidworks Stations various digital services to the construction industry with a clear focus on Building Information Modelling (BIM).
OD3 Advanced BIM uses the latest 3D modelling software Tekla Structures 2020 to create accurate constructible models from here we process and manage the data to supply fabrication packages to steel fabricators for manufacture.
Having completed various large contracts throughout the UK, Ireland and Australia the feedback on service is positive with repeat and regular business from existing clients. We are currently a team of Eight and are in the process of increasing detailing capacity to a further three stations to meet demand.

With the recent investment we now also provide connection design & analysis via specialist software Idea StatiCa inhouse. Traditionally calculation packages for steel connections were sourced by the fabricators where they had the task to hire third parties to acquire adding delay and admin.
We currently provide this as a service inhouse to compliment contract detailing and increasing delivery speeds.

Simple Joints to Eurocode 3 (Green Book) enable us to have great knowledge in connection methods for steel structures bringing efficient added value to the steel fabricator. Our technicians regularly hold connection workshops to further improve their knowledge.
We are a registered member of the steel construction institute (SCI), Constructionline, Irish Association of Steel Fabricators and carry PI insurance to the value of 2 million for client confidence.
