Three levels of external balcony steel, detailed and aligned across every floor — delivered direct to the fabricator as one coordinated package.
Florence Road is a multi-storey balcony package: three levels of external balcony structures, each needing to align precisely with the floors above and below — and with the building they hang from.
OD3 detailed the primary hot-rolled support steel and coordinated the secondary members and interface connections across all three levels, keeping levels, alignments and connection positions consistent through the full height of the development.
Sequencing mattered as much as geometry: connection detailing was developed with installation order in mind, so the fabrication and erection drawings supported a smooth fit-out on site.
Outcome
Balcony steel that aligned level to level, connection to connection — fabricated and installed without the site surprises multi-storey interfaces usually bring.
