RCSI Sandyford was taken through full BIM coordination: every discipline's model federated into one environment and reviewed together, so conflicts between structure, services and architecture are found and resolved on screen — not discovered on site.
Coordination you can walk through
The walkthrough below is a Navisworks fly-through of the federated model — the building assembled digitally, with structure, MEP and architecture overlaid. Clash detection across those models surfaces the hard and soft conflicts (duct through beam, plant against access, services into structure) while they are still lines in a model and cost a comment rather than a variation claim.
