Terex Filter Press Enclosure
A filter press enclosure detailed for Terex — open-grid flooring and access stairs, iterated until the stair cleared the tanks below.
An enclosure for a Terex filter press: structural frame, open-grid industrial flooring and a flight of access stairs up to plant level.
The challenge sat under the stairs — the original design clashed with the tanks below. The stair went through several iterations in the model before the final arrangement, so the clash was solved in steel detailing, not discovered during installation.
Outcome
The stair was redesigned through several iterations until it cleared the tanks below — resolved in the model, not on site.
